Caries-free Adulthood<\/h2><\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”8px” el_class=”mobile-none”][vc_column_text]The \u201eCaries-free Adulthood” project is implemented in the central macro-region (Mazowieckie and \u0141\u00f3dzkie Voivodeships) by the Medical University of Warsaw and the NEUCA Foundation for Health as part of the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Social Fund.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”861″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1732713470284{margin-top: 11px !important;}”][\/vc_column][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”30px” el_class=”mobile-none”][vc_column_text]Tooth decay is a common health problem. It is referred to as a disease of civilisation or a social disease. The main factors responsible for the development of caries are bacteria producing acids that destroy enamel in the process of breaking down sugars present in food products.<\/p>\n

Tooth decay can contribut\u00e9 to headaches and sinus pain, the development of rheumatoid arthritis, and kidney problems. Caries also increase\u1e61 the risk of diabetes, heart attack and stroke.<\/p>\n
